On the Swiss Snow Academy’s Discovery and Learning Trail, you’ll refine your technique in a targeted way while expanding your practical knowledge. On the Discovery Trail, you’ll learn additional techniques and variations on skis, such as carving uphill, controlled switch turns uphill, clearly recognizable jump styles, and precise direction changes using step technique. In addition, on the Knowledge Trail, you’ll learn advanced topics such as how to use an avalanche transceiver, get an Introduction to avalanche awareness, and gain insight into the path to becoming a snow sports instructor.
You’ve already learned a lot—here’s everything else you need to master! Put your skills to good use and start with the Academy Rookie level. Once you’ve successfully mastered it, you’ll move on to the Swiss Snow Academy and continue developing your skills.
Have you successfully completed the entire Swiss Snow Academy training program? If so, a variety of exciting opportunities await you: In addition to the option of further developing your snowboarding skills, you can also take the next step by becoming a snow sports instructor. In this role, you’ll share your knowledge and passion and guide others on their journey in the snow. Whether you want to deepen your athletic skills or take on responsibility as an instructor—both paths are open to you.
